YORK, PA – A weekend speed festival at Utz Arena on the York Fairgrounds in York, Pa. is now complete and CJ Hendrickson is the new Miss Racing Xtravaganza.
An estimated six dozen vendors were on hand for the event which featured over 100 race cars on display.
After her Saturday coronation, Ms. Hendrickson and Courtney Wolf, 2018 Jr. Miss Racing Xtravaganza, presided over the show. Both CJ and Courtney will be spending the racing season traveling to various tracks and interacting with drivers and fans as official ambassadors of the Show.
Bricker’s Famous French Fries sponsored the 2018 pageants.
A new event at the 2018 Racing Xtravaganza featured the first BAPS Auto Paints & Supply “Finishing First” Cornhole Challenge.
Transtan Stoner and Jason Freeman won the competition and the cash prize that went along with it.
Drivers signing autographs at the show included 410 Sprint Drivers Brock Zearfoss, Gerard McIntyre Jr. and Adrian Shaffer, Super Sportsman aces Scott Dellinger, Kenny Edkin and Garrett Williamson, Dirt Late Model competitors, Ronnie Grinestaff, Bobby Beard and Chase Billet, Micro Sprint racers Austin Quick, Brian Carber and Jim Randy, PASS/ IMCA Drivers Kyle Kraker, Billy Nye, and John Scarborough, crew chiefs Scott Zellers, Aaron Long and Jake Hinkle and Drag Racers Michelle Devilbiss and Joe Moss each signed autographs throughout the two day run of the show.
Seminars hosted by the York County Racing Club, by Jeremy Elliott and Kolten Gouse on the importance of sponsorship, by BAPS Motor Speedway, by Eastern Museum of Motor Racing Seminar presented by Lynn Paxton, and by South Mountain Raceway on Track Safety and Making Drag Racing Great Again were conducted over the course.
